A shrine dedicated to the three dieties of Onamuchi-no-mikoto, Sukuna-Hikona-no-mikoto, and also Kumano-Kusubi-no-mikoto. Legend says that the first two of these gods discovered Arima Onsen.

Yukemuri (Hot steam) Square

This square is the starting point for Arima sightseeing. In the center there is a waterfall that represents the steam of a hot spring, and to the right is the statue of Taiko Hideyoshi who was fond of Arima.

Tenjin Hot Spring Sourcet

The source of the Kinsen hot spring, which flows out from the grounds of Tenjin Shrine, dedicated to the God of Study. This hot spring source is typical of those found in the Arima area.

Mt. Rokko tourism

You can reach Mt. Rokko in thirty minutes by car from Arima. The cablecar (“ropeway”) is just twelve minutes away.
After touring Arima, you must head out so see Mt. Rokko!

Board the cable car to ascend Mt. Rokko!

If you are a guest of the Arima View Hotel Urara, hotel personnel can pick you up and drop you off from Arima Onsen Station on the Rokko Arima Ropeway.

13Mt. Rokko Hiking Course

Head from Arima Onsen to the summit of Mt. Rokko. You can also use the cable car to ascend Mt. Rokko or take a leisurely walk down a route towards Arima Onsen.
